CHRISTMAS MOVIE SUCCESS!

Christmas Movie Marathon 2021 was a great success!  $305 was raised for the Crockett Family Foundation.  There were about 45 students from Reedsport, ages 3 to adult that tapped, jazzed, and danced ballet to different songs from Christmas movies.  The stage was set as Santa’s living room, and he came on stage singing and looking for the remote.  When he finally got the tv to turn on he watched a marathon of “movies”.  He would go on and off the stage for certain things like a reindeer crisis, a bathroom break, and popcorn, also telling jokes and and enjoying the show!  A couple other characters also made their way on stage, including Elf, the Grinch, and Ralphie dressed as a bunny from “A Christmas Story”.  It was an amazing night to kick off the holiday season especially after not performing a recital in 2 years due to COVID – 19.
